Our 2020 season is finally underway. We would normally be finishing up about now but with the delayed start, are only midway through our reduced season. We are just happy to be up and running and our players are very happy about hitting the paddock at long last.
Very excitingly we have fielded an Under 18’s team this season; this is a milestone for our little club and something we had to work hard for. Their Coach, Sam, worked tirelessly getting the word out and recruiting players with the help of the boys who came back from last years Under 17’s. They have only played two games so far with a 50/50 result; early days but promising considering they are a newly formed team. Keep up the
great work guys.
Some other exciting news is that we have had a new sponsor come on board—Lighting Illusions, the name in lights. This will enable us to buy new uniforms for next season with a great new look. So keep an eye out next year for our new strip. Thanks Lighting Illusions, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Speaking of sponsors, we are always on the look out for new sponsors as there are many improvements that need/can be done around the club. Sponsorship or donations doesn’t mean dishing out loads of cash. There are many things that can be or need to be updated: training and fitness equipment, post pads, kitchen equipment, painting of the club house. The list is endless and we are extremely grateful and appreciative of any amount that may come our way.
So if you or your employer are looking to help out a community club please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to hear from you.
