We delivered 191 beautiful pillowcases to the Brisbane Children’s Hospital on Wednesday 6 March.
The young man from the Children’s Hospital Foundation who came to collect them told me how much their own special pillowcase means to the children in hospital having treatment.
It brightens an otherwise sterile room, and they get very attached to them. The foundation gets very excited when they receive a delivery from us.
We had our packing day on Thursday 29 February and it was a lovely chance for us to catch up for morning tea and a chat.
Sach from the Forest Lake Heritage Bank joined us and enjoyed learning about what we do.
The bank supports us with grants that enable us to purchase the fabric to make the pillowcases.
