It’s been brilliant to see our local seniors come together over the past few weeks, with the Premier and our local Member for Inala Annastacia Palaszczuk hosting two hugely successful Seniors’ Morning Teas for our community.
With information about scam prevention, My Aged Care and the many services available to local seniors, these events are so important to ensuring that local seniors know how and where to access the support they need.
One of the things that makes our local community so special is the strong connections between our local seniors, and that was on full display at both morning teas.
Well done to the Premier and her local team for all their hard work putting these events together.
It was also fantastic to be able to launch the latest edition of my “Senior’s and Pensioners Information Kit”, which has all the information that local seniors need about the variety of Government supports available to them.
