There is no denying that many of our practices and ways of living are harming the planet we live on. While some may deny climate change and global warming, it is becoming increasingly harder to ignore that our environment is changing and not for the better.
There are so many issues with government policies, emissions from large companies and land development that seem completely out of our control and leave us feeling helpless. It is important that, while these issues are out of our hands, we stay informed and educated so that our conversations and decisions can be constructive.
However, there are some even easier and more achievable things and actions that each of us can be doing to help the environment. These things focus on reducing our waste contribution and limiting the damage we create as individuals. As with most things, but particularly with zero waste, some change is so much better than no change.
“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly.
We need millions of people doing it imperfectly.”
The suggestions and ideas on this page aim to do just that! These are simple and easy sustainable practices and alternatives that can be done by anyone. These are simply suggestions and ideas, in no way do you need to take all of these on board at once (or ever). These articles about zero waste are simply a place for you to come and learn new things you may not have known before.
The best decision you can make for the planet is the decision to try and live even just a little bite more sustainably than you were before!
