50 Plus Club September Update

The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club’s August outing was a picnic at Scarborough Beach.

On arrival we enjoyed a fabulous morning tea thanks to our ladies and gents who provided a great selection of treats while taking in the wonderful views of the bay.

We were blessed with great weather on the day. Our lunch was a box of fish and chips from Morgans SeaFood at Scarborough, washed down with a selection of fine wine, beer, soft drink and water.

Bill Atkinson again provided his wonderful repertoire of songs to keep the folk entertained – thank you Bill.

The Clubs ‘Extra Activity’ for August was lunch at the Blue Fin Fishing Club, Inala, with another good attendance that was very much appreciated by the Blue Fin.

The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club wishes to acknowledge its ongoing support from the Heritage Community Branch, Forest Lake.

The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club meets on the third Friday of the month at The Old Inala Hall, Cr Rosemary St. & Abelia St Inala at 10.30am. (Sep 16, Oct 21 and amp; Nov 18).

For more information on the Club and its activities, please contact Leonie (President) on 0427 846 057 to register your interest or email fl50plusc@gmail.com.
