Our last game was held at Ipswich on Sunday 23 April with 28 players attending.
The Ipswich course is usually a game in two halves with the front nine mostly the old course and the new championship back nine.
Not today though with the whole course in great shape and playing as tough as it has ever been.
Both greens and fairways were marvellous, giving everyone a fair chance at scoring well.
But alas, there were a few who couldn’t come up to the game to beat the course, finding the layout very challenging indeed.
Congratulations to all of our winners on the day:
Our A Grade Winner was Dan Parkin with 37 points and our runner up was Paul Weymouth with 33 points.
Our B Grade Winner was Dani Dvornicich with 39 points and our runner up was Steph Corless with 38 points.
Other prize winners on the day were:
Long Drive A Grade – Mick Morley with another monster dive!
Long Drive B Grade – Steph Corless who’s accuracy always pays dividends.
