A 20-year-old man from Doolandella has been charged following an investigation into an unlawful wounding incident that took place in Bundamba last week.
The Ipswich Detectives and specialist police units conducted an extensive investigation which led to the arrest of the alleged offender during a search warrant executed in Doolandella on July 8.
The incident occurred on Friday, July 5, at approximately 5:10 PM, in a carpark off Mining Street.
According to police reports, a 36-year-old man from Goodna was standing next to his vehicle when he was approached by three men known to him.
An altercation ensued, during which the Goodna man was allegedly stabbed in the stomach and arm.
He was quickly transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The arrested individual faces several serious charges, including acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, armed robbery, and unauthorised use of a motor vehicle.
The 20-year-old was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in Richland Magistrates Court today, July 9.
As part of the investigation, police have recovered a Toyota Kluger, which was allegedly stolen from a West End address on June 27.
