It has been a busy month for our members including our June meeting, held at our regular venue Centenary Tavern, where we enjoyed an interesting talk from our guest speaker Graeme Moulton about the difference between genealogy and family history. Graeme recently appeared on “Who Do You Think You Are” on SBS and talked to members about how they can research their family history, learning fascinating facts along the way.

A week or so earlier a group of our members tried their hand at bowls at Jindalee Bowls Club. Two hours of play was followed by a delicious BBQ. It is fair to say there was mixed ability, but everyone had a fun time. Also, this month there was a trip to the cinema to see “The Way, My Way” a film based on the book by the same name about one man’s personal experience of walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Looking ahead we have our usual coffee and chat mornings, films, lunches and our annual fashion parade.
