Hubfit Active celebrates first birthday

The Lake News    February 3, 2021    2 min read

Hubfit Active will be celebrating their first birthday on Saturday 13 February by inviting the community to join in on free fitness classes, games, prizes, and, of course, cake. Other local businesses in the area will be joining in on the celebrations, such as BOQ Forest Lake and Supps 24/7.

“The fitness classes and events start from 9am on the day and we would love to see the local Forest Lake residents pop down to show their support and help us celebrate,” said Hubfit Active manager, Jade.

Opening in February last year at the start of the pandemic was challenging for the team at Hubfit Active but only strengthened their commitment and belief in healthy minds and healthy bodies. Exercise is a great way to foster this and improve overall health and general fitness.

“At Hubfit Active, we are passionate about fostering healthy habits in a friendly community environment,” said owner, Nathan Daley. “Whether you’re looking to get your kids up and moving, yourself into shape or help keep your parents active, our wide range of classes cater to a variety of ages, fitness levels and goals. For instance, we support the seniors within our community with a free yoga class every Thursday.”

Hubfit Active is not your average gym. The interactive fitness hub with group and functional training +Prama, is made up of an array of classes for kids, teens, adults and seniors designed to help develop a healthy body and healthy mind.

“Our classes for juniors and teens focus on mind plus body. Not only do we work to improve overall fitness, our classes are designed to improve concentration, boost self esteem and develop social skills.”

With a huge range of classes on offer, cost effective pricing and special Seniors rates, there’s every reason for all members of the family to stay active and healthy at a time when mind and body fitness is so important.

Hubfit Active is located upstairs at 200 Grand Avenue, Forest Lake. Call Jade on 0406 843 540 to find out more about classes that are right for you and your loved ones.
