The Lake News    February 29, 2024    2 min read

Our Annual General Meeting in February marked the handover to a new committee for 2024.  These hard-working committee members (pictured) have already started to pull together an exciting programme for the year ahead. There is something happening every month including walks, coffee meet ups, lunches, movies, concerts, and trips to places of interest.

A great way to find out more about VIEW is to attend one of our dinner meetings.

Our next meeting will be held on Monday, March 11 at Jindalee Bowls Club (our temporary home for a few months while Centenary Tavern is under renovations). If you would like to attend, aim to arrive on or after 6:15 pm. for a 6:30 pm start. The cost is $35, which includes dinner followed by a guest speaker.

This month we are hearing from one of our own members who will be talking about her experiences sailing in the Southern Ocean. Bookings are essential so if you would like to join us, please contact Rita on 0413 138 967 before Thursday, March 7.

If you like the sound of what we have to offer, please come and join us. You will receive a very warm welcome.

VIEW stands for the Voice, Interests and Education of Women.  VIEW is a national volunteer organisation, which provides opportunities for women from all walks of life to meet regularly, establish lasting friendships, and most importantly, to support disadvantaged children through The Smith Family charity.
