Centenary Evening VIEW Club update

The Lake News    April 30, 2020    2 min read

The beginning of a new year is the ideal time to reflect on what we have achieved during the past year. Despite the limitations of COVID-19, Centenary Evening VIEW Club had a very successful year in 2020. You just need to look at www.view.org.au/find-a-club/qld/clubs/centenary-evening-view-club/ to see how well we interpreted our focus on fun, friendship and fundraising.

In particular, our members are proud of the money raised at the end of last year by our Christmas wrapping at Orion Shopping Centre. All these funds go to The Smith Family’s Learning for Life Program which supports disadvantaged Australian students.

Perhaps you are interested in checking out our club. We are always delighted to welcome new members so please get in touch by using one of the contacts listed below.

The first dinner meeting of the Centenary Evening VIEW Club for 2021 will be on Monday 8 February. This is our AGM so we do not have a guest speaker. Meetings are held at the McLeod Country Golf Club, 61 Gertrude McLeod Crescent, Middle Park. Cost is $38 and bookings are essential. We need to know that you are coming to our dinner meeting by the previous Friday for catering purposes.

Contact us by sending an email to centenaryeveview@gmail.com or call Di on 0408 725 542 or Helen on 0402 477 888.
