Community Life Uniting Church has been working hard to take care of Forest Lake and the surrounding community year-round, and most recently with their annual Blessing Day 2023 and gift wrapping station at the Forest Lake Shopping Centre.
Blessing day truly embraces the spirit of giving, and that families can spend quality time with each other. Reverend Emma and her team of volunteers donated endless hours of their own time to make sure that they could hand out more than 360 gifts and 105 hampers to families/carers with children.Â
Christmas is about the birth of God’s son – Jesus – whose message was about love, hope and joy and that good can come out of what seems a hopeless situation. Everyone that supported this important annual giveaway needs to know that their generosity was the reason for Christmas being extra special for so many who thought the cost of living would stop them from having a blissful Christmas.
Special thank you to all the residents that supported the Community Life Uniting Church by having their gifts wrapped at the Forest Lake Shopping Centre. All the funds supporting the church provide critical assistance to Forest Lake and surrounding suburb residents.Â
