Forest Lake 50+ Club July Update

Jamie Furness    July 14, 2022    2 min read

The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Clubs last activity was a visit to the Australian Outback Spectacular’s Heartland dinner and show. We had a great attendance of 33 members and guests travelled down the highway.

We all lined up for our group photo and headed inside for a welcome drink while being entertained by the resident C&W singer.

Once seated, the meals came out in double quick time, quickly followed by more glasses of their favourite beverage.

With the lights down, the show began in spectacular fashion and the lighting effects throughout the show were nothing short of breathtaking. Everyone agreed it was a fabulous night out.

The Clubs Extra Activityfor June was lunch at the Durack Tavern, and the meals were once again on point! Their new $15 & $20 menu was a great hit with members. Everyone who attended enjoyed their lunch and catch up with their friends.

The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club wishes to acknowledge its ongoing support from the Heritage Community Branch, Forest Lake.

The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club meet on the third Friday of the month at The Old Inala Hall, Cr Rosemary St. & Abelia St., Inala at 10.30am. Date claimers for the next three meetings are July 15, Aug 19 & Sep 16.
