Our club enjoyed a wonderful outing onboard the MV Neptune River City Cruises’s launch which left from its mooring at the Public Pontoon at Southbank.
There’s something wonderful about seeing our city from the Brisbane River.
With the skipper’s comments on various landmarks while we made our way to Newstead House wharf before returning to Southbank ninety minutes later.
Morning tea with scones covered in cream, jam and a fresh strawberry was provided too.
Afterwards we all enjoyed lunch in small groups throughout Southbank before returning to Forest Lake mid afternoon.
Our next bus trip is on the 1st May to Eumundi Markets.

The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club meets on the third Friday of the month at The Old Inala Hall, Corner Rosemary Street and Abelia Street, Inala at 10.30am.
