Our Guides have had a fabulous term starting off the term learning about the Anzac story we moved on to learning some knots to help earn our boating badge.
We did a half day canoeing expedition to hone our boating skills and learn about water safety.
This was followed by surprising our Mums for Mothers Day by making terrariums which turned out really well. We have our fingers crossed they are still doing well.
We’ve also learned about healthy relationships and what it means to be a good friend. We went to the movies and saw The Little Mermaid. We loved the movie and have decided we will definitely do this again!
We had a great night making edible campfires and learning about fire safety and then challenged ourselves to see who could build the tallest structure with marshmallows and spaghetti – well done Lily and Lily!!
We also welcomed new friends at our bring a friend games night and finally finished off the term with a trip to Bounce – wow that’s a lot!
Next term is also shaping up to be a lot of fun with many more outdoor activities planned.
If you’d like to join in the fun you need to be 5 or older and be willing to have a go!
