Forest Lake Photography Club Awards

Three Forest Lake Photography Club members have been awarded The Heritage Bank Slideshow Award for December 2022.

Congratulations to Lorraine Burdeu, Marigold Meagher and Peter Tanner for their photographs, “Water Siren,” “Swish,” and “Beach”.

Every month, Forest Lake Photography Club members submit photos for a slideshow and then during the following month they vote for three of their favourites. 

The winners will receive an A3+ print of their photos, produced on the club’s printer purchased a few years ago with a very generous grant from the Forest Lake Heritage Bank. 

Members can have their photos printed for the cost of the paper or canvas.

The Forest Lake Photography Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:15 pm at the Forest Lake Community Hall and visitors are most welcome. 

At the February meeting, the members had a presentation on photography by Norman Dean, the club’s president.
