The Forest Lake Probus Club continues to attract new members and three joined recently while others are considering the option. Probus is not for everyone and, as you would expect, all people are different. Some things attract, others do not. Probus is all about Fellowship, Friendship and Fun. The recent visit to the Margaret Ollie Centre at Tweed Heads was interesting. One member commented that she felt better about her house-keeping skills after the visit. Just what that means is up to interpretation, however, those who participated enjoyed the outing.
It is a good time to be indoors enjoying the company of friends or simply oneself. That can’t be said of our intrepid global travellers Helen and Stephen who are on a world cruise. At the time of writing this they have visited Cape Town, Walvis Bay in Namibia, Las Palmas in the Canary Islands and Tunisia in Morocco.
