The Inala Pensioners will be hosting their Biggest Morning Tea event on June 5 at the New Inala Hall.
The morning tea, which begins at 9:30 am, is sure to be a hit amongst locals with the club’s secretary Tina Jimenez promising a morning filled with joy.
“We will have a little entertainment alongside the morning tea,” she said.
“We have over 30 main raffle prizes to be won, so it should be a fun morning.”
Last year’s Biggest Morning Tea was a huge success and guests were treated to a variety of food including sandwiches and chocolate brownies.
“We have held this event every year for many years, and have raised thousands of dollars for the Cancer Council for Cancer research, an illness which has touched almost every family.
“Our door entry is $10, which covers a lovely morning tea and a huge raffle with many prizes.”
The event will be held in the hall next to the Inala library, and doors open from 9:30am for a 10:00 am start.
