Lions Club of Inala

April is shaping up to be another busy and memorable month for the Lions Club of Inala. We begin by acknowledging our very recent exciting and important visit from our club Lions 2VDG Narelle Bluer who presented President Lion Bob Richards MID, CG, Lion Nayda, Lions John, Lion Barb and Lion Del with their District Governor’s Distinguished Service award for outstanding service to the Lions and the community.

Their volunteer work via the Lions Club of Inala continues to make a significant and positive difference in the lives of some of our most vulnerable members of our community, especially families who are struggling due to the cost of living increase. The more residents come to us asking for assistance the harder we work. Please thank our hard-working lions’ members next time you see them.

You will see many of our members at the Lions Club of Inala ANZAC Day Service 2024.

The Lions Club of Inala in collaboration with Paws for Hope and Understanding would like to invite the community to attend the annual ANZAC day service on Thursday April 25 at ISA Park, Inala.

Many of our members like members of our community have had family or friends honour those selfless Australians who have fallen for our country.

Thursday April 25 marks 109 years since the first landing by Australian and New Zealand troops at ANZAC Cove at Gallipoli. It is an important day for all of Australia, and  especially our residents that each year come out in droves to show their respect to those who have served our country.

For more information, please contact President Bob on 0412747529.

Also, don’t forget to contact Lion Nayda on  0424 404 303 if you would like a X-man Lions Club of Inala Backpack, with term two starting very soon. We know that families are doing it tough and we are here to help.
