Rotary Club of Forest Lake

The Lake News    February 28, 2024    1 min read

The Rotary Club of Forest Lake recently attended a local citizenship ceremony on January 25, where we were part of the team welcoming 100 new Australians.

Our club members then served a sausage sizzle and drinks to the guests at the Great Aussie Pool Party held at the Parkinson Aquatic Centre. It was a great day.

The club attended a joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Goodna on February 12, where the guest speaker was Dr Michael Charlton. Dr Charlton is a Redbank-based local chiropractic service provider, who gave us some great advice on posture and exercises to assist with good posture while at work or at home.

The Club members also got together for a Sunday Lunch at The Lion to help celebrate a member’s big “O” birthday.

The club is looking forward to being part of the Easter Eggstravaganza at the Lake Stage again this year on Sunday March 24.

For any membership enquiries, please contact our membership officer Alan Greig on alan_greig@bigpond.com
