Kids in Forest Lake and surrounds can have a personalised letter posted to them by Santa Claus this Christmas by sending their details to his local team of helpers.
The elves at Bank of Queensland (BOQ) Forest Lake are working very hard to help Santa with collecting and mailing letters to well-behaved children in the community.
With Christmas approaching, now is the time to add to the magic for that special little person who’s already excited with the anticipation of Santa visiting home.
BOQ Forest Lake Community Engagement officer and Marketer Melissa Rogaloff said the initiative, which started last year, was a great opportunity to bring Christmas cheer into local homes.
“We had over 100 registrations which was awesome, and heaps of incredible feedback from the parents to say how much it lit up their child’s face when they received the letter from Santa,” Melissa said.
Last year, BOQ Forest Lake offered the program to local daycare centres and schools, and hope to give back to the community through the program on a bigger scale this year.
“It was a really amazing initiative, so hence why we want to do it community-wide this year,” she said.
As an owner-managed branch, BOQ Forest Lake has been supporting the local community for the past 22 years, and this initiative will continue into 2024 and beyond.
To register all you have to do is email forestlake@boq.com.au and provide the following details
- Full name of each child
- Parent’s names
- Age of each child
- Mailing address
Santa knows where to deliver the letter, so alternative addresses can be nominated for people who are not home over Christmas.
Santa Claus requires the registration of each child no later than December 11 in order to have the letters mailed from the North Pole in time for Christmas, so get in fast to be sure you don’t miss out.
