The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club’s trip to the Police Museum on February 7 was very well attended.
Our first stop was for morning tea at Roma Street Parklands Cafe, where we were treated to a wonderful selection of muffins, scones and cakes with coffee or tea to wash it all down.
After struggling back onto our bus, we headed off to the Police Museum where we enjoyed a video of an old murder case, which was touched on in the Netflix movie ‘Boy swallows Universe’. The exhibits in the museum had our members enthralled.
We then headed across town to the Pineapple Hotel for a great lunch.
The Clubs ‘Extra Activities’ held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month give our members the chance to catch up and chat while enjoying each other’s company.
The Forest Lake Fifty Plus Club meets on the third Friday of the month at The Old Inala Hall, Cr Rosemary Street and Abelia Street, Inala at 10.30am.
