The Forest Lake community was treated to a great time at the free Easter Eggstravaganza event held at the Lake Stage on Sunday April 2.

More than 1500 people attended the event, which included a free sausage sizzle, a jumping castle, a colouring competition, face painting, balloon art, easter craft, prizes to be won and much more.

Another highlight of the event included an interactive stage show featuring Allstars Performing Arts teachers and students, Aria the Fairy (Amy Winner) and Sienna the Fairy (Caitlyn Madden), and their pixie friends, as the audience helped them search for the location of the Easter Bunny’s party.

Children in the audience were also treated to bags of chocolate eggs from the Easter Bunny after the show.

The free event was brought to the community by Bank of Queensland Forest Lake, One Agency Forest Lake, Councillor Charles Strunk, and Allstars Performing Arts and supported by various community groups.
