Girl Guides is in full swing for the last term of 2023. We had a fabulous night joining 50 other Girl Guides for a Halloween-theme roller skating night.
October is also JOTA/JOTI month where we make contact with other Guides and Scouts across the country and in some instances Internationally.
Whilst this used to occur via radio these days we have more advanced technologies such as Zoom and FaceTime which makes it much easier. Of course, using a traditional ham radio is super fun!
The girls have been working on various badges and having fun being creative with puppet theatre and skits.
We are also in the midst of preparing girls to increase their outdoor and camping skills in preparation for our State camp in 2024 – Guides Unite.
