The Men’s Shed is hosting a Turning the Screws event on May 11. This is where the police replace your number plate screws with one-way screws to prevent number plate theft.
We will be offering free coffee and a free sausage sizzle, and visitors will be able to view the shed and our artists may have some art for sale.
There has been more of the same in the Men’s Shed lately – we’ve been working on more garden benches and recycling bottles and cans and repairing chairs for community members.
If anyone has a garden bench they no longer need, let us know as our stock of benches are getting low.
