The year is moving along quickly and the end of the Lions year is upon us.

Our officer changeover dinner is being planned for June 28 with our new board being installed.

Congratulations to all who have volunteered and taken up the positions on offer.

A BBQ was held for ELORAC on April 15 with a good turnout of lLions to help out. The request for us to help out with the movie night was well received by our club.

We dished out over 500 sausages and as many drinks were also handed out on the night. Well done to all who were involved. ELORAC were also very grateful for the help we offered.

The ANZAC Dday event was well attended with lions marching, and, later after the service and the laying of wreaths, we assisted the Forest Lake RSL by selling lamingtons, tea and coffee.

A big thank you to the local community for supporting the RSL.

Our weekly barbecue at Crossacres Garden Centre continues, and we would extend an invitation to one and all to enjoy a sausage in bread with a coffee/tea and cake available.

We offer lively conversation over a coffee/tea break and love to discuss most items of interest, including plants, with Col’s help.

Would you like to join a local club to serve your local community, please give us a call. For membership enquiries for the Forest Lake Lions Club, please contact Vicky on 0417 794 499.
