Happy New Year to one and all, and don’t forget to come and join us for more fun times in 2024, with our monthly meetings commencing on Thursday February 8.
Our calendar for February to July has been finalised and there are really fabulous events, day trips, away trips and more ready and waiting for us to enjoy. We also have some interesting guest speakers lined up.
The Forest Lake Branch of National Seniors held their final event for 2023. It was a fabulous Christmas Party at Gailes Golf Club. The venue was beautifully decorated, getting everyone into the festive spirit. Our meals were superb. The entertainer had all the right songs for our fun-loving members to hit the dance floor and rock on, and many lucky members won prizes.
Our group has been very well supported by all our local politicians and Heritage Bank. We are so grateful. We very much appreciate the support from The Lake News where a lot of our enquiries come through.
