Easter Eggstravaganza returns to Forest Lake

The Lake News    January 27, 2024    2 min read

The Forest Lake community is looking forward to a hopping great time at the 2024 Easter Eggstravaganza, set to take place on Sunday March 24 at the Lake Stage between 8am and 11am.

The free community event, brought to the community by Allstars Performing Arts and Bank of Queensland (BOQ) Forest Lake, promises a day of family-friendly activities, colourful Easter eggs and a sense of fun and togetherness.

Forest Lake Community Events Association president Kylie Gates said she was delighted to have been asked once more to help assist with this very popular and anticipated local event with BOQ and Allstars.

“Last year we were ran off our feet, and I expect the same this year.

“There’s nothing more enjoyable than seeing the smiles on children’s faces as they get their face painted or interact with the Easter Bunny giving out easter eggs.”

BOQ Forest Lake was delighted to lock in a date after having record crowds attend last year.

BOQ spokesperson Melissa Rogaloff said the bank took pride in contributing to the local community.

“We’re delighted to announce the upcoming Easter Eggstravaganza—a celebration that promises to be even more spectacular this year,” she said.

This year, all children registered will be treated to a range of complimentary food and activities, including:

  • A visit from the Easter Bunny
  • Sausage sizzle
  • Jumping castle
  • Balloon twisting
  • Animal display with live interactive shows
  • Face painting
  • Live entertainment from Allstars Performing Arts dancers
  • Fire engine display
  • Adopt-A-Cop police display

To ensure all children have a chance to participate, each child must register on the morning of the event at the registrations tent.

The event is completely free for children who register. The cut-off for registrations will be at 600 children, so make sure to get in fast to secure your spot.

Children will also have the opportunity to say hi to the Easter Bunny, who will be onsite, spreading joy and cheer.

The fire engine and police displays promise to captivate both kids and adults.
