Chúc mừng Năm Mới! The Lions Club of Inala would like to wish everyone celebrating the year of the Dragon a Happy New Year. Our club is made up of members from all over the world, and proud of its multicultural roots and especially our multicultural community.

President Lion Bob Richards says that our club is truly a reflection of our multicultural community. The same way many of us were welcomed we arrived in Australia, we are now welcoming our newest Australians. Our club members are of Vietnamese heritage, Spanish and Latin American heritage, European Heritage and Western backgrounds. Regardless, we have the same goals and vision to help members of our community, welcome new members to our community and fight for equality, opportunities and inclusion.

The Lions Club members were delighted to host the annual Citizenship Ceremony 2024 in the Blue Fin Fishing Club in Inala, welcoming our newest Australian on January 26. We know firsthand the importance of welcoming our news multicultural members to Australia. A huge thank you to Lion John, Lions Les, Lion Nayda and the team who have gone above and beyond to make it a success. Special mention to our newest Lion, Kylie Gates who will bring a wealth of experience and energy to the club. Rolling up her sleeves and getting the job is what she does best.

Also, keep an eye on our social media. We are delighted to announce that we are working on our 50 year anniversary celebration event. We have always been a small club with big hearts.

If you have any questions, or are in need of a back-to-school X-man backpack, please contact Lion Nayda on 0424 404 303.
