News from the 19th Hole APRIL

The Club ventured out to Sandy Gallop Golf Club for its game held on March 10.

We had another strong field of 26 members playing in a Stableford competition.

With an early start to the day, and everyone teeing off from the first tee on a beautiful morning, we soon found out that this course had quite  few very interesting and challenging holes, with more dog legs than an RSPCA Kennel! Nevertheless, the course was in excellent condition and the greens were challenging, but very true.

Congratulations to all of our prize winners on the day.

A Grade Winner was Dan Jones with 41 points, and our runner up was Pat Ayling with 40 points.

B Grade Winner was Gavin Robinson with 40 points, and our runner up was Kyle O’Connor with 37 points.

Other prize winners on the day were:

Long Drive A Grade: Dan Jones

Long Drive B Grade: Atul Bhardwaj

Nearest Approach Hole 2: Dan Jones

Nearest Approach Hole 18: Paul Nutley

Nearest the Pin Hole 3: David Keane

Nearest the pin Hole 8: Gavin Robinson

Nearest the Pin Hole 11: Gavin Robinson

Our Bradman winner on the day was Liam Dvornicich with 20 points.

Our next games will be at Windaroo Lakes on April 7, followed by Ipswich on April 28.

The club wishes to acknowledge and thank our major sponsor The Heritage Community Branch, Forest Lake for its ongoing support.

If you play golf and are interested in joining our social club, please contact Pat on 0417 213 659 for more details on our club and hopefully you can join us at our next game.
