Community Hero Adaline “Addie” Moy and her family have lived in Forest Lake for more than 16 years. Addie loves everything about her local community, but she especially loves the people she transports in her Miss Daisy car.

This month’s Local Artist spotlight features Heathwood resident Dr Vinothan Paramanathan, owner of Vinoraa Photography. Vinothan’s photographs of the sunsets in Forest Lake have been receiving lots of praise in the Forest Lake Community Space group on Facebook.
The Lion Richlands was recognised as Queensland’s Football Club of the Year for a second year in a row at the annual Clubs Queensland Awards, held in March.
Forest Lake’s first ever Show and Shine event launched at the Forest Lake State High School carpark on Sunday March 26 2023.
Jack Pilatowicz, owner of the Jewellery Box located at the Forest Lake Shopping Centre, is preparing to celebrate two years serving Forest Lake locals during the first two weeks of May.
The Jewellery Box was recently nominated for the Inala Electorate Small Business Awards, which the winners will be announced for in The Lake News June edition and also on MP Annastacia Palaszczuk’s Facebook page in June.
